This is a 10* TOTAL BK on the OVER Bruins/Leafs. The O/U is 1-3-1 so far in this series. Here in Game 6 I'm finally expecting some goals though. Note that Boston has seen the total go OVER the number in eight of its last 12 in trying to avenge a home loss as a favorite vs. an opponent. Toronto will have to push the pace here, the biggest game of the year here clearly for both clubs. Expect this faster pace to produce more shots and more shots = more goals. This number is low, the play is the OVER. Good luck, NP |

This is an 8* SUPER TOTAL on the OVER Giants/Red Sox. Both sides have been playing to several lower-scoring games of late, but I expect this get-a-way game to be a higher-scoring "slug-fest." Kyle Harrison (2-1, 4.09 ERA) gets the call for the Giants, while Josh Winckowski counters for the Red Sox. Note that Boston has seen the total go OVER the number though in four of its last five in trying to avenge a home loss as a favorite vs. an opponent. The first two games of this series have been lower-scoring, but I say the overall situation here points to these two starters finally taking a step back, and these two talented hitting line-ups finally taking a step forward. This number is low, the play is the OVER. Good luck, NP |

MLB | May 02, 2024 Cubs vs Mets |
Mets -105 at linepros |
Won $100 |

This is an 8* play on the Mets. The Cubs have taken two of the first three games of this series, but I think that the struggling Adrian Houser is the correct call here in the finale of this four-game set. Chicago won 1-0 yesterday. All three games have so far been tight. Ben Brown (0-1, 4.30 ERA) gave up three runs over three innings in a 17-0 loss to Boston on Saturday. Brown is a rookie and this is the first time he's faced the Mets. Houser gave up six runs over five innings ina 7-4 loss to the Cards in his last outing. So far Houser has struggled to open the year, but a date vs. Chicago is just what the doctor ordered to get back on track in my estimation as he's 3-2 with a 3.74 ERA in 13 career games vs. the Cubs. Give me Houser and the METS to bounce back here at home this afternoon. Good luck, NP |
